Creating Turnovers Is A Big Deal
Brooklyn had sixteen turnovers in game two. The points that they scored off those turnovers kept them a float while the offense struggled. Atlanta has 28 points off turnovers in the series. The Hawks defense should be licking it’s chops when looking at these numbers.
Rebound The Ball
In game two, both teams secured eight offensive rebounds a piece. Keeping the Nets off the offensive glass takes away a lot of second chance points opportunities. When Lopez gets an offensive board, it’s almost automatic that it’s going to be a put back. With Millsap back to form, life is going to be a lot easier on the glass.
The Hawks get rebounding help from multiple players, it’s not just the front court. It is going to be tough for them to out rebound the Nets, but not impossible. Atlanta just really needs to keep it close.
