Atlanta Hawks Grades: The Bench

Dennis Schröder, D

3 Points| 1-9 FG | 1-2 FT | 1 REB | 2 AST | 0 STL | 0 BLK |

If Dennis has games like this, divert your eyes from a bench implosion. Too quick for his own good with the ball and tried too hard to create the plays himself and didn’t seek aid from teammates. Easy layup after easy layup botched, although unlucky, those can’t happen to the amount that it did tonight.

Kent Bazemore, C-

6 Points| 2-5 FG | 2-2 FT | 5 REB | 1 AST | 0 STL | 0 BLK |

Has yet to find a rhythm that will bring his offense back to the forefront. Especially from three where he’s below freeing. His benefit as of now is his length and ability to guard multiple positions with minimal difficulty but he has to be frustrated with the offense.

Mike Scott, D

6 Points| 3-6 FG | 0-0 FT | 5 REB | 0 AST | 0 STL | 0 BLK |

Mike Scott’s biggest hole in his game is that he has to improve defensively and will get beat off the ball closer to the paint. I’m praying for an 2014 Playoffs “Emoji” performance out of him, but it has yet to arrive.

Pero Antic, C-

7 Points| 2-7 FG | 2-2 FT | 4 REB | 0 AST | 1 STL | 0 BLK |

Pero started off on the right foot by instituting a pump fake drive to the rim, and subsequently petered off. With every three-point attempt after the make he looked a little less confident in the shot altogether.
