Atlanta ended up with 15 turnovers in game three, a game in which they lost. The Hawks defense is making a good living turning Nets turnovers into points. The Hawks don’t want to just hand the ball back to Brooklyn because of their own errors. This becomes especially important when you are cold from the field. The Hawks relied on their defense in game two to bail them out. In game three, the defense couldn’t shoulder the load. 15 turnovers is why they couldn’t win as they failed at trying to play on one side of the ball.
