They may have played free basketball, but the Hawks paid mightily during a big Nets fourth quarter and watched their first round series become knotted at two apiece.

The offense finally worked its way back into the fold but wasn’t quite the showstopper like Brooklyn’s Deron Williams was. His 35 points in the game were monumental in fueling the Nets to force OT, where they subsequently pulled away on free throws.

Atlanta had its chances to close but now have to face facts that this series will go at least six games. Good thing too that they are en route back to Georgia where they’ll look to improve upon their sparkling 37-6 records inside the friendly confines of Philips Arena during the regular season and playoffs. Game 5 is this Wednesday.

Plenty of action to discuss from the game, as well as what to look ahead to as the series progresses. For now, let’s dive into our reactions and player grades.
