Successful Offensive Adjustments
- Total Rebounds : Atlanta 55 – Brooklyn 40
- Offensive Rebounds: Atlanta 18 – Brooklyn 11
- Points in the Paint: Atlanta 60 – Brooklyn 44
For the first time in this series, Atlanta outrebounded Brooklyn on both ends of the floor. The Hawks proved to themselves that this can be done. Not to mention they did it on the road. It was a total team effort and this needs to continue for the remainder of this series.
The Hawks netted 20 second chance points from the 18 offensive rebounds they collected in game four. They need to really build on this moving forward. It’s basically free money for Atlanta who has become increasingly more successful on the offensive glass. Second chance points opportunities are crucial in every game. It will need to be a “whole team effort” on both sides of the glass.

Sir Charles In Charge
What if I told you that Atlanta was scoring more points in the paint than the Brooklyn Nets? Well, that’s exactly what’s happening. Not only in game four, but throughout the series. The Hawks are averaging 45 points per game while the Nets are averaging 41.5 points per game inside the painted area. This is a combination of post play and lots of dribble penetration. After game one, it looked like it would be the Nets that would be the team going inside consistently. The Hawks backcourt has really helped here as they are so strong at getting to the rack.
