The Bottom Line
The Atlanta Hawks need to play in desperation mode. Not in a sense that they should be careless but absolutely play with a sense of urgency. Brooklyn has proven to be a legit challenger in close game situations. Brooklyn has yet to beat the Hawks in Atlanta. Budenholzer and company will likely benefit from playing at home in game five.
The Hawks made many key adjustments in game four. Turnovers and free throws killed them, not Deron Williams. The Nets have stars and they should be expected to have big games like any other team. Atlanta now faces some adversity and a true test in the Brooklyn Nets. This series may just define the Hawks season in 2014/15. All hands are on deck for the Atlanta Hawks who are now playing in a brand new series. It’s up to a group of players that accumulated 60 regular season wins to wake up and play like they want this title.
Expect a different team tonight.
