He got everyone off on the right foot. Even during small runs, with the game out of hand or individual mistakes, he was swift with the player exchanges to ensure no hiccups. His mind solely on the purpose of making a statement, he made sure his players attacked, attacked, attacked. Those were the barking orders and he was equally pleased and relieved with how the series ended.
It took time for the Hawks to gel again with the extended breaks towards the end of the regular season, but the players are back to playing Bud’s style…at the best time possible.
