November 3rd Hawks @ Heat

Are the Miami Heat back? They might be. With a full season out of Goran Dragic, a healthy Dwyane Wade, the return of Chris Bosh, Hassan Whiteside’s rim protection, and a high-ceiling draft pick in Justise Winslow, the Heat are a trendy pick to return to elite status in the Eastern Conference. Not if the Hawks have anything to say about it. This is a perfect opportunity for Atlanta to assert their dominance on the Southeastern division.

The Eastern Conference Finals were not pretty for the Hawks. LeBron James and his LeBronettes dominated Atlanta on their way to the NBA Finals, sweeping the Hawks 4-0. Revenge is not a dish best served in November, but psychologically getting a victory over the conference rivals that thoroughly destroyed them last season might be helpful.
