 5. Jeff Teague

Teague makes the list before his Hawks career is even over. I don’t have to tell you what makes Teague special. He is lightning quick off the dribble and has developed into a top notch scorer and playmaker. He excels in the pick and roll and is a sold three-point shooter as well. Where he has made the biggest trades over the last few seasons is defensively. He’s an excellent defender and was a huge part of Atlanta having the sixth best defensive rating last season.

For his career Teague is averaging 11.5 points, 5 assists, 2.1 rebounds and 1.2 steals per game on 45 percent shooting and 34.1 percent on three-pointers. Last season was arguably the best of his career. He made his first All-Star team and reached career highs in points per game (17.6) and steals per game (1.7). Thanks in part to his breakout season the Hawks won 60 games last season, secured the top seed in the Eastern Conference and reached the Eastern Conference Finals.

Teague is only 27 so he still has a long career ahead of him, so who knows, he could vault to the top of this list by the time it’s all said and done.
