The last seven days have been unkind to everyone in the division not named Charlotte.  The Hornets were the only team in the division to finish the week with a winning record while two teams, the Heat and the Magic finished the week failing to register a single win.

Two of the five teams in the division are in the playoffs at the time of this piece (Atlanta & Miami) while the other three are on the outside looking in.  The Wizards and Heat are currently battling for the 8th seed in the East with the Hornets and Magic saying close enough to the pack to potentially make a run after the All-Star break.

The following is Soaring Down South’s weekly power ranking of the Eastern Conference’s Southeast Division.
