The “beasts” of the Southeast this week, the Hornets were the only team that finished the week with a winning record. After finishing in 5th in the rankings last week, they move up a spot after taking down the likes of Utah, Orlando and New York this week. Their lone loss was against the Thunder so we’ll give them a pass on that one and call their week a complete success.

Kemba Walker was approaching Steph Curry territory this week as he dropped 52 points, 9 rebounds and 8 assists against the Jazz and then followed that up with 21, 40 and 26 respectively in the team’s next three contests. With Al Jefferson out, he has continued to lead this team on offense as they tread water until their prized big man returns.

They head out on a Western Conference road swing this week as they travel to Sacramento, Utah, Portland and Los Angeles in what could be a make or break week with regards to their playoff hopes.
. (21-23). Previous: . Charlotte Hornets. 4. team. 170
