After a solid outing in their summer league opener, the Atlanta Hawks will take on the Washington Wizards today at 4 PM ET. Both teams head into today’s matchup with 1-0 records.

The Hawks defeated the Houston Rockets Friday night as they were lead by the trio of first-round pick DeAndre Bembry, Kevin Pangos, and Bryce Cotton.

Bembry showed ability to play an all-around game finishing with 14 points, six rebounds, and four assists, while Pangos did well as the floor general and scored when he had the opportunity finishing with 16 points of his own.

The Wizards were also victorious in their first taste of summer league action, defeating the Utah Jazz 88-63. Kelly Oubre was the star of the night finishing with 20 points and eight rebounds. The Wizards also got contributions from center Michael Eric and Danuel House.

There is still uncertainty of whether or not the Hawks’ No. 12 pick Taurean Prince will make his summer league debut. Prince missed last game because of a pending physical that has to take place since the trade was finalized.

It should make for an exciting game. Let’s take a look at the match-ups to watch.
