9. Shareef Abdur-Rahim

During the 2001 NBA Draft, the Atlanta Hawks completed a trade to land Shareef Abdur-Rahim from the Vancouver Grizzlies.

The following season, Abdur-Rahim was an NBA All-Star. His stay in Atlanta didn’t last very long, three seasons to be exact, but he showed the league that he could be one of the best power forwards in the game no matter what team he played for.

In his three seasons with the Hawks, Abdur-Rahim averaged 20.4 points, 8.9 rebounds, 2.9 assists and 1.1 steals per game.

Abdur-Rahim ranks fourth in franchise history in minutes per game with 38 and seventh by averaging 20.4 points per game.

In 2005, he became a free agent and signed with the Sacramento Kings, with whom he eventually retired with in 2008.
