The NBA season is a couple months away, but it doesn’t mean it’s too soon to start predicting the awards for the Atlanta Hawks 2016-17 season.

For a team like the Atlanta Hawks, statistics might often seem underwhelming. The franchise’s team-first mentality can often limit players to numbers that fall below the stature and ability of the individual and there are very few times when we see a player explode.

Indeed, no/few Hawks have managed 20 points per game over a season since Joe Johnson did in the 2009-10 campaign.

So, with that in mind, who will be the Atlanta Hawks’ team leaders at the end of the 2016-17 season? And which players would be the winners of the team’s yearly awards?
