5. Larry Drew

Years as Hawks coach:

3; 2010-11 to 2012-13

W/L Record (win percentage):

128-102 (.557)

Leading off the list, Drew guided the Hawks to three straight playoff appearances in his three years in Atlanta. A longtime assistant, he got his first coaching gig after Mike Woodson was not re-signed after six years coaching the Hawks.

Drew led the Hawks to the fifth seed in the Eastern Conference playoffs in his first year as an NBA head coach. They upset the #4 seeded Orlando Magic in the first round of the playoffs, but lost to the #1 seeded Chicago Bulls in six games in the second round.

Drew only coached the Hawks for three seasons, but his time set a tone of winning in Atlanta that continues to this day.
