Age: 31

2015-16 Season Per-Game Averages: 19.5 points, 10.0 assists, 4.2 rebounds, 2.1 steals.

Career Per-Game Averages: 18.8 points, 9.9 assists, 4.4 rebounds, 2.3 steals.

How can CP3 only be third? That’s the NBA today, folks; the gap between the top three is separated by time.

Chris Paul is the epitome of a point guard and he does it year-in, year-out. He has averaged double-figures in assists as many times as he hasn’t and has put up just one season, his rookie campaign, with less than 8.9 dimes per game. He scores well, usually pushing into the high-teens and he defends really well, averaging 2.3 for his career. Paul is one of the league’s best leaders and is easily the most complete point guard on this list. Easily.

There’s not much more to say about CP3. It feels bad to leave him with such a short write-up but it’s not disrespectful. Instead, it is the opposite. We all know how good Chris Paul is. Very. The 31-year-old is one of the very best point guards of all time.
