Age: 26

2015-16 Season Per-Game Averages: 20.9 points, 5.2 assists, 4.4 rebounds, 1.6 steals.

Career Per-Game Averages: 17.3 points, 5.3 assists, 3.8 rebounds, 1.4 steals.

How good was Kemba Walker last season for the Charlotte Hornets? The addition of Nicolas Batum helped, but Walker played a huge role for a team that surprised many. Walker set a career-high in scoring, with 20.9 points per game and in three-point percentage while shooting nearly two more three-pointers per game.

"“In what can only be described as a breakout season, Walker dazzled fans and wowed experts as he finally put together a year that many had been wishing for from him for a couple years now. The jumpshots fell. Attempts at the rim were completed, and most importantly he wasn’t the sole creator. The subtle changes Walker made to his game this offseason combined with an overall system change the Hornets implemented was a perfect storm to push Walker higher than he had ever been before,” Chris Barnewall of SBNation’s At The Hive said."

Walker can be a nightmare to guard with his refined offensive arsenal and his defense continues to be solid for a player of his size. The Hornets thrived last season and Walker was no small part of it. Next season will tell us whether he can do this consistently.
