6. Dwyane Wade

Age: 34

2015-2016 Season Averages: 19.0 points, 4.1 rebounds, 4.6 assists, 1.1 steals

Shooting Percentages: .456/.159/.793

Regardless of how people think that Dwyane Wade has regressed, he still warrants being high on this list.

Wade is no longer the player he once was, but he is still a very good NBA shooting guard. As a creator off of the dribble, he is still fantastic. Even though his three point shooting was very bad last season, Wade was still extremely dangerous anywhere inside the arc. His driving ability is still among the best in the game and he can finish at the rim with the best of them. His passing remained great for a shooting guard as he averaged almost five assists per game this year.

Even though his three point percentage was terrible, Wade shot an incredible 52 percent from three in the playoffs. This proves that even in his old age, D-Wade is still showing up in the big moments. When the game is on the line, I’d still feel comfortable giving the ball to Wade.

Defensively, Wade is still an effective player on that end. Even into his mid-30’s, Wade is still a great athlete and aggressive defender that is capable of guarding good NBA wings. With the presence of new teammates, Rajon Rondo and Jimmy Butler (who will still appear on this list), Wade could really excel as a play-maker on that end of the floor for Chicago.

Wade is in for an odd fit on the offensive side of the ball in Chicago. But he is still a legitimate All-Star player and one of the top shooting guards in the NBA.
