The King with the ring: LeBron James. Who else was it going to be? I mean, seriously, if you didn’t know who this was going to be, I don’t know why you are reading this because you have clearly never seen or heard anything about the NBA.

LeBron James could well go down in history as the best player to have ever graced the hardwood. His skill-set has to be the most rounded and his athleticism has been downright scary for many years. The King can score as well as any, averaging 27.2 points per game for his career. He can dish the ball like a point, never putting up less than 5.9 assists over an entire season and his outstanding physical prowess has enabled him to pull down 7.2 rebounds per game over his 13-year career.

What has to be the most impressive thing about James’ game, though, has to be his mindset and his drive. Nothing made that more obvious than the 2014-15 playoffs where he very literally dragged an Irving-less, Love-less Cavaliers team to the NBA Finals. A year later, he followed it up with what often looked like a gargantuan one-player effort to finally bring a ring to Akron, Cleveland and Ohio.

LeBron James is powerful, graceful, prolific, and passionate. He is a scorer, a playmaker, a defender and a leader. LeBron James is the King of his position and the King of the NBA. Long live the King! Long live the King!
