Humphries came to the Hawks during the playoff race, and outplayed some of the established bigs on the roster. Likely to have a reduced role due to Splitter’s return, but will battle with Mike Scott for backup power forward minutes.

Primed for a breakout season, Muscala will play over Splitter in some cases, due to his better shooting ability. Will force the Hawks’ hand in Splitter’s resigning after the season.

Mike Scott
The Hawks’ resident heat-check big man. His offensive game is one of the best on the team, but is defensively below average, making it hard for the coaching staff to play him. Alongside Howard in short spurts, he could be a weapon.

Edy Tavares
The third year project from Cape Verde will likley dominate the D-League for one more season before being a rotation player for the Hawks.
