Tim Hardaway Jr. will get Paid this Summer

For the first time, the Cavs did not have an answer defensively for an Atlanta Hawks player. Hardaway played what was by far the best game of his young career.

36 points on 13/20 from the field and 5/9 from behind the arc was more than the Hawks could have ever asked for. His performance brought back memories of Joe Johnson‘s glory days in Atlanta when he would single-handedly take over games in the fourth quarter and carry the Hawks to victory.

This isn’t the first time that we have seen him take over games in the clutch. Hardaway has potential to be a star and the number-one scoring option on a ball club, and other teams will definitely be open to that idea after his performance last night. The Hawks will have to dig deep into their pockets to keep him wearing the granite gray next season.
