Bright Spots

There were several bright spots for the Hawks, if I can lighten the mood. Millsap had a very productive outing. He had 23 points on 9-for-16 shooting and 10 rebounds. He went in on Thaddeus Young, often using a spin move or crossovers to get to the rim and convert. His mid range jumper was consistently falling too.

Dennis Schroder also had a nice game. He used a ball screen to knock down each of his triples, on his way to 18 points. He also had 7 assists and 3 steals. Teague was basically able to match his effort, with 16 points and 6 dimes.

Thabo Sefolosha played well in yet another start for the Hawks. He made a couple big threes to help his team take the lead in the fourth quarter. He also had 5 rebounds and 3 assists. The player of the game for the Hawks was none other than Tim Hardaway Jr.

Once again, he embraced his role off the bench and did an excellent job. The former Michigan Wolverine recorded 24 points and was 4-for-7 from long distance. He was an important part of Atlanta gaining a 6 point lead with less than 2 minutes remaining, by knocking down his flurry of threes.
