Prediction

The Hawks would like to close out this stretch of home games with a win. The Raptors have other ideas. The rosters have changed significantly since these teams met in December. Kyle Korver is out, Ersan Ilyasova is in. Kyle Lowry is on the shelf, Serge Ibaka and P.J. Tucker are now in the mix.

Daily Fantasy Basketball Projections by numberFire

The numberFire projections see this game as Toronto’s to lose. They give the Raptors a 57.53 percent chance of winning. Given Atlanta’s play of late, that shouldn’t come as a surprise. I agree with the robots on this day.

Even without Lowry the Raptors are just better than the Hawks. Unless the Hawks light it up from outside or lock down on defense, I see this as a relatively easy Raptors win. Thabo Sefolosha slowing down DeRozan would give the Hawks a fighter’s chance. The other match-up to watch will be Paul Millsap versus Serge Ibaka.
