Atlanta Hawks Headlines returns after Atlanta’s unthinkable comeback win over the Cleveland Cavaliers. Are the Hawks now a playoff threat in the East?

The Atlanta Hawks pulled off one of the most incredible feats that one could ever see in the NBA on Sunday afternoon.

Down 26 points in the fourth quarter, the Hawks stormed back to secure an overtime win over the defending champion Cleveland Cavaliers. Paul Millsap hit a mid-range jumper at the regulation buzzer to send the game into overtime when the Hawks sealed the deal for a 126-125 win.

That marks two wins in three nights against LeBron James and the Cavs, including the first win with a depleted roster. This win further establishes the Hawks as one of the most enigmatic teams in the NBA. They have proven to be able to beat any team in the NBA if they are clicking but have shown tendencies to go very cold. It was not very long ago when the team was mired in a seven-game losing streak.

But now, the team appears to be looking up. They have taken the season series over Cleveland 3-1 and should have plenty of momentum heading into the final two regular-season games and into the postseason.
