Schroder’s Best Performance

Schroder’s best performance of the season just might have come in the Hawks’ playoff series against Washington.

In Game 5 in the nation’s capital, the Hawks came up four points short but Schroder showed up in a big way. The German dynamo finished with 29 points, 11 assists, and just one turnover. He was also very efficient, as he shot 55.6 percent from the field and 5-of-6 from three-point range.

Schroder had the look of a pure point guard with a killer instinct in this pivotal Game 5. He was very aggressive in this contest but the aggression was controlled. Schroder had good shot selection and made great passes. It seems like Schroder created all of the Hawks’ offense in this game while he was on the floor.

Wall provided little, to no, resistance on the defensive end against Schroder, who put it all together in this game on the offensive end. Without Schroder, the Hawks would have gotten run out of the gym in this game.

This was the game that Schroder showed Hawks fans why he was paid so much money last summer. His talent is immense and when he is dialed in, Schroder can take it to any point guard in the NBA. This was an elite performance in a big time game by Schroder and gives the Hawks’ fanbase hope for the future.
