Atlanta Hawks Headlines is back to discuss the changes to Atlanta’s front office, Dwight’s homecoming, and much more.

The Atlanta Hawks are making some changes to their front office. The team announced on Friday that Mike Budenholzer would relinquish his duties as president of basketball operations and that general manager Wes Wilcox would transition to another role in the front office.

The search for a new decision-maker will begin immediately. Is this a good move for the Hawks organization? Will Mike Budenholzer benefit from being able to devote all of his attention to coaching? Time will tell.

Let the speculation begin on who they’ll select to be the new president of basketball operations! Will it be an established name from around the NBA? Will they poach someone from the San Antonio Spurs?

Principal owner Tony Ressler says that the team would like to have the role filled before the 2017 NBA Draft, so we may find out sooner rather than later. As always, the waiting is the hardest part.

Let’s take a look at what today’s installment of Atlanta Hawks Headlines has to offer.
