1.Boston Celtics

Pick: Markelle Fultz, G, Washington

The number one overall pick seems to be a sure bet. The Boston Celtics, fresh off an Eastern Conference Finals appearance, should be selecting a future franchise player in Markelle Fultz with the first pick in the 2017 NBA Draft.

2.Los Angeles Lakers

Pick: Lonzo Ball, G, UCLA

While it’s apparently not an easy pick for the Lakers to make, they need to select Lonzo Ball here. The exceptional playmaking abilities can help the growing youth in Los Angeles excel even further.

3.Philadelphia 76ers

Pick: Dennis Smith Jr., PG, North Carolina State

Dennis Smith Jr is one of the most exciting prospects of the 2017 NBA Draft. Incredibly explosive and athletic with the capability of perimeter shooting and playmaking, Smith can add even more excitement to an already exciting 76ers team.

4.Phoenix Suns

Pick: Josh Jackson, SF, Kansas

A potentially perfect fit alongside Devin Booker Josh Jackson could flourish in the desert. The most physically gifted talent in the 2017 NBA Draft Jackson brings loads of versatility to the table. This acquisition may spring the Suns further towards prosperity again.

5.Sacramento Kings

Pick: Jayson Tatum, SF, Duke

With Rudy Gay likely leaving the Kings in free agency it opens the door for a potential pick of an ISO-ball proficient prospect in Jayson Tatum. This would be a great way to start the first full season of the post-Demarcus Cousins era for Sacramento, with young talent flourishing all over.
