6.Orlando Magic

Pick: Malik Monk, SG, Kentucky

Eventually, the Orlando Magic have to start acquiring playable young talent again. Malik Monk brings some of the best perimeter shooting in the 2017 NBA Draft. This is a fit that could potentially flourish for the both sides.

7.Minnesota Timberwolves

Pick: Johnathon Isaac, F, Florida State

If Johnathon Isaac is on the board by Minnesota’s pick the Timberwolves aren’t going to pass on him. This is potentially a perfect it pairing Isaac’s unique talent alongside two proven stars in Andrew Wiggins and Karl Anthony-Towns.

8.New York Knicks

Pick: De’Aaron Fox, PG, Kentucky

De’Aaron Fox seems to relish the idea of playing alongside Kristaps Porzingis. In this case, the pairing gets to be created in full form. Fox has the speed, athleticism, and overall exciting potential to get Knicks fans excited about their team again.

9.Dallas Mavericks

Pick: Lauri Markkanen, PF, Arizona

Lauri Markkanen is an exciting prospect all together. Has an incredible stroke from beyond the arc that he hit at 42% last season on over 4 attempts per game. He potentially fits the mold of the new-age four in the NBA today. With Dallas’ spectacular developmental personal Markkanen could thrive for many years as a Maverick.

10.Sacramento Kings

Pick: Donavan Mitchell, G, Louisville

This may shock some, but Donavan Mitchell has been skyrocketing up draft boards and it’s for good reason. There’s so much upside with a player this athletic and for how good of a shooter he is. Has point guard potential for if the Kings were to need it. Overall this seems like a wonderful pick.

11.Charlotte Hornets

Pick: Justin Jackson, SF, North Carolina

Justin Jackson just won a national championship with the Tar Heels, it is only fitting that we keep him in North Carolina. Jackson brings solid perimeter shooting and slashing ability to a Hornets team that desperately needs scoring from the wing. If developed correctly Jackson has potential to be an excellent NBA talent.

12.Detroit Pistons

Pick: Frank Ntilikina, PG, France

Frank Ntilikina is the best international prospect of the 2017 NBA Draft and fits a potential need of the Pistons. While Reggie Jackson for now is the team’s future point guard, but times are potentially changing in Detroit. He will need some developing but this is a spot that Ntilikina could fit in well with.

13.Denver Nuggets

Pick: Zach Collins, PF/C, Gonzaga

Zach Collins has potential through the roof, perhaps more so than any down low prospect in the 2017 NBA Draft. Alongside rising star Nikola Jokic in Denver this is a potential nightmare duo for opposing defenses. The Nuggets only seem to be a year of developing and another asset away from being back in the playoffs. Collins, if developed correctly, can put them there.

14.Miami Heat

Pick: Jarrett Allen, PF, Texas

The talent is there for Jarrett Allen to have a very successful NBA career. The Miami Heat need more capability at the four position alongside Hassan Whiteside. Allen is potentially a great compliment to Whiteside with his ability to hit mid-range jumpers, and wouldn’t have to worry about grabbing big rebounding numbers with Whiteside getting those.
