The Atlanta Hawks are continuing to work out a variety of NBA Draft prospects

Shortly after the news of Jaron Blossomgame getting a workout with the Atlanta Hawks was released a new list of workout participants was released. Georgia’s JJ Frazier, Oregon’s Jordan Bell, Baylor’s Johnathon Motley, SMU’s Semi Ojeleye, Virginia’s London Perrantes, and Houston’s Damyean Dotson are working out with the team today.

There’s a mix of talent in this group. None will likely be taken in the first round, but potential second round steals are being looked at. Jordan Bell an outstanding athlete at the four spot has been indicated to be one of the Atlanta Hawks’ main targets with the 31st pick. He has outstanding rebounding and defensive potential with downright absurd physical traits.

Johnathon Motley and Semi Ojeleye are both versatile power forwards with downright monstrous body frames. Motley is 6’9″ and Ojeleye is 6’7″ with both at 230 pounds, both were absolute stars in their respective conferences and both purely dominated with size and strength. Ojeleye is an outstanding perimeter shooter for his size, but Motley proved to be a bigger prescience down low averaging just under 10 rebounds and a block per game.

Next: Why the Hawks should keep Tim Hardaway Jr.

JJ Frazier and London Perrantes were both fabulous point guards for their schools, both playing throughout their senior seasons. Frazier is small in stature at 5’10” and 150 pounds, however is a masterful scorer averaging 18.8 points per game last season and making more than 200 threes in his Georgia career.

Perrantes isn’t as proficient as a scorer, but what he lacks in proficiency he has in efficiency with a career three-point percentage of 40.9%. Also has good size for the point guard position at 6’2″ and 190 pounds and is an absolutely brilliant defensive player. The Hawks could use either of these guys for point guard depth.

Damyean Dotson played two years at Oregon before transferring to Houston where he really evolved as a player. In his senior season he averaged 17.4 points per game on a fantastic 44% (108-245) from three-point range. Dotson has good size for a two guard at 6’5″ and over 200 pounds.

Some knockdown shooting from the perimeter could be awfully useful for the Atlanta Hawks making Dotson a possible selection.
