Pick 48: Keith Benson

Passed On: Isaiah Thomas, Lavoy Allen, E’twaun Moore.

The only draft pick the Atlanta Hawks possessed in the 2011 NBA Draft was the 48th as they traded away their 1st rounder in the aforementioned Kirk Hinrich trade. Benson played in the Hawks’ two preseason games in the lockout shortened 2011-12 season and was waived before the regular season began. This draft was pretty essentially useless to the Hawks.
