Let’s assume that Atlanta re-signs restricted free agent Tim Hardaway Jr., finds serviceable bench players in free agency, and a rookie who holds his own. In this the Warriors finally reach financial disarray and go their separate ways with Draymond Green.

Firstly, Green’s passion and intensity would mesh well with Dennis Schroder’s energy and tenacity. As Green spends more time with his new teammates, it’s inevitable that he will hold his teammates accountable, bringing out the best of everyone.

At first glance, there is a massive vacuum of offensive firepower if Green replaces Millsap. The Hawks rely on Millsap to close games, get the offense going during droughts, and regularly attack the basket.

That’s where Green comes into play. Not only is the 6’7″ four a much better perimeter shooter which leads to better floor spacing, but his passing ability brings out the best in everyone. The Hawks core of Schroder, Hardaway Jr., and Taurean Prince would benefit greatly from Green’s vision.
