As all Hawks fans know, if you are a good shooter and passer, then you will thrive in Mike Budenholzer’s offense. While Brussino won’t start off the season seeing significant playing time in a fixed role, I expect him to improve drastically between his time in Atlanta and possibly with the Erie BayHawks under new head coach Joshua Longstaff.
In time, I do expect the system of the Hawks to turn Brussino into a very good player and a major contributor to the offense. With the team in a rebuilding stage with nothing to lose, there isn’t anything holding the Hawks back from giving him playing time and exposure.
If a player needs development, there is no better place to go than the Atlanta Hawks and Budenholzer’s system. Brussino is going to be fun to watch.
