The Atlanta Hawks will be entering next season with a new look roster. What are some of the most exciting things to keep an eye on for the campaign?

All the kids have gone back to school as evidenced by the ravaged aisles of likely each and every super center you have swept through recently. You’ll notice the big cheese transporting all the wide eyed little people will now help contribute to your frustration during many of the next traffic jams you find yourself in.

I mention this because, it serves as the final countdown of yet another summer coming to a close. The thrill and excitement of a new NBA season you’ve been longing for is right around the corner. That’s right, before you know it, the Atlanta Hawks will be back in action.

We’ve seen the Atlanta Hawks go through more changes over the course of one off-season than they likely ever have. Many of us already know this, but for the casual fan out there, the product of which will take the floor has worsened significantly. Don’t expect them to be raising a trophy or even a banner for a long time.

If you do choose to view the direction of the team with an open mind however, you’ll realize the potential of what they can achieve has increased to extraordinary proportions. Long gone are the days of having to settle for average results, with rosters stockpiled with “good” players. The Atlanta Hawks organization has accepted the ultimate challenge, and it’s exciting to be a part of that.

It’s inevitable the group shall suffer in the win column, but the experience and development of the young players will be beneficial for the long haul. The coming season will be more interesting than any of recent memory. If you think I’ve overstated a lot of this, brace yourself. Here are the boldest things that will take place with this year’s Atlanta Hawks.
