Month-By-Month Review of the Atlanta Hawks 2017-18 Season

December was a strange month that saw the Hawks win a fourth of their games for the season including a 3-1 record in the last week of the calendar year. After coming into the month with just four wins, they rattled off six in just 30 days. Most impressively, the Hawks shut down an upstart Portland squad 104-89.
While they still did lose nine games, the month helped them flee being the worst of the worst (although some fans wish they ended with the worst record) and while 10-26 is a terrible record to start the new year, it definitely could’ve been worse.
