Month-By-Month Review of the Atlanta Hawks 2017-18 Season

Best Win: vs. Utah

Worst Loss: vs. Chicago

2018’s first month was another bad but not terribly bad one for the Hawks. The games they did win were surprising, as all five were facing Western Conference teams that either made the playoffs (San Antonio, New Orleans, Utah, Minnesota) or came historically close (Denver). Beating these teams showed that not only did the players stay competitive during a rough season, but also that Coach Bud is still one of the best in the game.

Outside of those, Atlanta played more to the tune of the rest of the season, with embarrassing losses to a Suns team who finished with barely 20 wins on the season and the equally tanking Bulls by 16 points.
