The most controversial month saw fans torn between celebrating the Hawks’ somewhat strong close-out, or lamenting the wins because of lottery concerns.
The injury-riddled Hawks won back-to-back games for just the fourth time this season, both of which came against two Eastern Conference playoff teams (Washington and Boston). They ultimately lost their final game of the season to put their April record at a respectable 3-3, and their season record at 24-58.

Though this was a forgettable regular season for the Hawks, the real fun is just beginning as the team prepares to draft four times in first 33 picks in the NBA draft. Though Coach Bud might depart, the team should have a terrific young core to build around going forward.
