Despite being shut down for the final 9 games of the season due to an ankle injury, Dennis Schröder’s 5th season in the NBA was an extremely productive one. He led the Hawks in scoring per game at 19.4 and scoring totals with 1301.

Schröd piled up strong performances, including a career-high 41 against the Jazz late in the season. As the team’s best offensive creator, DS17 was primed for a breakout season on that end, and he delivered with plenty of his trademark line-drives to the basket.

It must be noted that after exploding after the All-Star Break, Taurean Prince finished second on the team in points per game (14.1) and total points (1158) – tallying not one but two 38-point outbursts over the final month of the season.
