4. Luke Babbitt, Kent Bazemore, Dewayne Dedmon, Taurean Prince, Dennis Schröder

There is no doubt what the strength of this squad was. They could flat-out score. It’s not surprising because it featured Dennis Schröder, Taurean Prince and Kent Bazemore who finished 1st, 2nd and 3rd respectively in points per game at season’s end.

They took 5.3 more shots per 100 possessions and scored 5.8 more points, good for second-best among qualified lineups. In addition, they put up 7.3 more assists per 100 than the opponent.

With an effective field goal percentage of 59.7% (highest of any lineup), these five shot a bunch of two-pointers as well as threes, and made them a good amount of the time.

The downfall of this group was definitely their sub-par defense. While not outright horrible, they didn’t do anything particularly special together either, amassing almost three fewer steals and a staggering 9.1 free throw attempts fewer than their opponent.

Overall these five could score early and often, but not much else.
