Unselfish basketball often translates to winning basketball. That was the name of the game for these 5. Another lineup that was cut short because of a buyout, (Ilyasova this time) the squad put up fantastic assist numbers.

With an assist percentage of 84.2% and an assist to turnover ratio of 3.2, this five-man unit out-assisted the opposition by 14.1 per 100, almost double the next closest lineup.

This type of unselfish ball movement-oriented play is the exact philosophy that Budenholzer brought to Atlanta from his days in San Antonio. And while it did work better back when the Hawks were playoff contenders under Bud, this lineup goes to show his system was still firing on all cylinders when the team truly followed it.

Outside of assists they were a pretty average lineup, with technically two power forwards instead of a center, they did get outrebounded slightly, but made up for it in other aspects on the court.
