With news breaking that the Atlanta Hawks have interest in signing veteran swingman Michael Beasley this offseason, we’ve outlined a few veteran options the team could look into during the free agency period beginning in July.

The Hawks started last season with a few veterans sprinkled throughout the roster in Marco Belinelli, Ersan Ilyasova and Luke Babbitt. By the end of the season, all three had been sent packing — with Babbitt being traded to the Heat for salary relief and Belinelli and Ilyasova being waived and signed by the Philadelphia 76ers.

With Dewayne Dedmon likely leaving via free agency and Dennis Schröder possibly on the way out via trade, the Hawks will have plenty of roster spots to fill this offseason.

The team’s focus will be on the draft, but there are multiple veteran players who could also fulfill various franchise needs.
