Though he just completed his junior year at USC, Chimezie Metu is still a rather raw prospect. Though his numbers were pretty nice during the 2017-18 season (15.7 PPG, 7.4 RPG, 1.7 BPG, 1.6 APG), his skill set is still not fully developed, which is still a concern for most NBA teams.

He is currently projected to go midway through the second round or beyond, and the Hawks should be on the lookout for him if he’s there.

Wildly inconsistent on a game-to-game basis, Metu’s impressive physique is lacking length, which might hurt him at the next level.

Still, he has shown a knack for shot-blocking, something the Hawks could use after finishing 23rd in that category during the 2017-18 season.
