You like Mike Muscala, you say? How would you like a younger, more intense version? Interested?

If the Hawks were to pry away someone’s mid-to-late second-rounder, the team might be able to nab a steal with Moritz Wagner out of Michigan.

One of the breakout stars of the NCAA Tournament, Wagner’s intensity and consistent three-point shooting should make any and all Hawks fans think of the consistent effort and excellent shooting that Mike Muscala has provided for the team for years.

Wagner will likely be a more dynamic option on offense than Musky, as his multi-faceted pick-and-roll skill set as the roll man will likely make him a feasible option for a young team looking for scoring at all levels.

Though defensively challenged, the second round is where projects are found, and Wagner certainly has enough upside to merit a selection here.
