Trae Young Will Finish Top 3 in NBA ROTY voting

Young could very well go ahead and win the award but I won’t be so bold. Guys like Doncic, Ayton and Collin Sexton have better stories or better teams to be more recognized.

But with the simple fact that Young is going to have as many chances as possible to jack up shots and make flashy passes, putting up a stat line of 18 points, 7 assists and 2 rebounds per game will garner some serious attention on Rookie of the Year ballots.

Most years there is a pretty unanimous vote on who should win like Karl-Anthony Towns in 2016 or Ben Simmons last year but the rest of the top 3 is usually up for grabs and we should expect Young to be able to jockey for that kind of position with relative ease.
