Trae Young Will Lead the Hawks to the Playoffs

Okay this one is a joke, but who the heck knows? Tell me, after Toronto, Boston, Indiana and Philly who are playoff locksin the Eastern Conference?

Milwaukee with Bud and Giannis seem like a good candidate as do the Wizards (Dwight Howard notwithstanding). After that, teams like the Heat and the Cavs are complete tossups on making the final 8.

If Young proves to be an absolute superstar with Prince and Collins playing at or a little below All-Star levels, the Atlanta Hawks could definitely steal an 8 seed. Now I know what you’re thinking, “making the playoffs would be THE WORST, WE NEED TO TANK“, and I mostly agree with you.

But imagine the magic this season could have if the Hawks find a way to 42 wins and a first-round date with Kyrie and the Celtics. Yes, we would probably get swept but you can’t tell me Young wouldn’t have at least one insane game where he went toe-to-toe with Kyrie.
