Standing at 7’1″, Len is both incredibly strong and surprisingly quick. He’s a paint-dweller, and his athleticism comes in handy when he’s whirling around both blocks.

His nose for the rim and leaping ability combine with his angry playing style to form the cocktail of a nasty board-getter. He plays with an edge, and if you’re a big man getting down and dirty under the basket, that’s useful.

When a player is carving out a place in the NBA, it helps to have a discernible, noteworthy skill. Len’s is his rebounding. While he’s in Atlanta, he’ll have the opportunity to work on other facets of his game, but for now, his calling card is vacuuming up boards.

Playing for the Suns last season, he averaged 7.5 rebounds a game while on the floor for only 20.2 minutes a night. With the increase in playing time he’ll see with the Hawks, it’s not out of the question to see Len easily averaging a double-double.

John Collins will assuredly have something to say about who leads the team in rebounding, but if Len gets the opportunity, let’s predict the big Ukranian ultimately ends up on top.
