Hawks Will Play at a Blisteringly Fast Pace

Firstly, the Atlanta Hawks will play at a rollicking tempo in their first game and likely all season.

It was certainly enjoyable to watch these young Hawks get up and down the court with haste, cavorting and galloping back and forth with reckless abandon. Of course, that speed will only get these young Hawks so far, as they must translate that pace into good looks on offense as well as disruptive and pesky defense on the less glamorous end.

As long as they do that, the team’s pace will be a clear positive for a team that will be looking for as many silver linings as possible.

With youth comes eagerness and excitement, and those qualities can be expected from the Atlanta Hawks this season, as they have multiple rookies and the majority of the team is 25 years old or younger.
