Atlanta Hawks: 5 Expectations for 1st Game of 2018-19 Regular Season

Taurean Prince’s Hot Shooting Will Continue
Another obvious expectation is the fact that Taurean Prince will have an 800-watt green light to shoot the three-ball at any opportunity.
The Prince That Was Promised dominated the Atlanta Hawks’ offense down the end of last year, and though his usage will likely drop with multiple new ballhandlers on the roster, but his consistent three-point stroke should only improve, and seeing him hit over 40 percent of his deep tries in the 2018-19 season would be unsurprising.

After the Hawks picked up Prince’s 4th-year player option, it’s clear that he will be with the team at least one more season, so let’s hope he continues to play well and earns a spot on the team for the foreseeable future.
There is little evidence to suggest that the Hawks will cut bait with Prince, as he plays an important position, defends well and is generally exactly what you could ask for from an above-average wing in the modern NBA.
