Five takeaways from an Atlanta Hawks loss brought on by inexperience and a glut of turnovers to the Charlotte Hornets on Tuesday night.

The Atlanta Hawks came into Charlotte looking to jump-start themselves into a winning streak after Saturday’s victory over the Miami Heat.

They started off the game with cold shooting and finished… even colder. Both teams had a rough go at finding the bottom of the net early on, and it seemed as if whichever team started hitting their shots first would win the game.

The Hornets did just that, heating up in the 2nd half, especially from three, and the Atlanta Hawks’ D just couldn’t keep up.
