The Atlanta Hawks extended their losing streak to 8 with a tight 127-119 loss to the visiting Los Angeles Clippers, who have now won 5 in a row.

One can be forgiven for watching Chiefs-Rams instead, but those who did at the expense of the Atlanta Hawks telecast missed an exciting yet disappointing loss for the ATL boys against a surging Clippers squad.

It was quite the basketball night for Atlanta Hawks fans, as the Duke-San Diego State game ran seamlessly into the start of a thrilling game against an interesting L.A. team.

Going from watching our baby Hawk-ling(?) R.J. Barrett (sorry, Zion-lovers) dominate in Maui to watching TraeTL go scorched-earth on Patrick Beverly and Co. in a tight loss was enough to send Larry O’Brien-laced-visions dance through the heads of those who Trust the Process.

And boy did our baby-faced assassin Mr. Trae Young show out.

25 points and a career-high 17 ASSISTS.

17 dimes. Wow.

What a sensational night for the rookie after a really tough stretch that saw him struggle on both ends of the floor.
