The Atlanta Hawks came home after a lengthy road trip and dropped their 8th straight game, this time to the LA Clippers.

The losing streak continues for the Atlanta Hawks, as the team has now lost 8 straight games. This most recent defeat comes at the hands of the exceedingly deep LA Clippers, as the team rode their depth in the 4th quarter to pull off a fairly impressive comeback victory against the Hawks.

The Hawks, who usually come unspooled in the 3rd quarter, waited until the 4th (i.e. winning time) before getting outscored by 15 points – mostly thanks to the efforts of Milos Teodosic and the unstoppable Boban Marjanovic.

The Hawks lead ballooned to 15 in the 3rd quarter before it all unraveled in the 4th.

Read on to discover some takeaways from this tough pill to swallow for Hawks fans, but before you do remember: General Manager Travis Schlenk and owner Antony Ressler knew this was going to be a process. The Hawks are not expected to win a lot of games this year, and that’s fine.
